The Health Tree Foundation is this year's chosen Charity of the Year.

A cause close to my heart, Scunthorpe Hospital provide phenomenal care to patients. As a patient twice in the last year, the first to give birth to my Son, and the second when I needed life-saving surgery when an ovarian cyst burst and I needed immediate care. The Hospital supported me and my family through one of the scariest experiences with kindness, compassion, faith and good-natured humour.

I am incredibly indebted to the Maternity Ward and the Gynaecology Wards in particular, and I hope you can get involved at the event to help support such a fantastic Hospital. ​

The Health Tree Foundation ensure that funds however big or small, are used to make a positive difference to our community’s healthcare.

Your help means they can provide acute hospital and community services to people across North and North East Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
