Scunthorpe Hospital League of Friends is this years chosen Charity of the Year.

A cause close to my heart, Scunthorpe Hospital provide phenomenal care to patients. As a patient twice in the last year, the firts to give birth to my Son, and the second when I needed life saving surgery when an ovarian cyst burst and I needed immidiate care. The Hospital supported me and my family through one of the scariest experiences with kindness, compassion, faith and good natured humour.

I am incredibly indebted to the Maternity Ward and the Gynaecology Wards in particular and I hope you can get involved at the event to help support such a fantastic Hospital.

The League of Friends support Scunthorpe Hospital with fundraising activities across the year and have provided much needed medical supplies as well as provided time and materials for refurbishments for patients.
